I've always wanted to help others and this program inspires me to do so all the time. It means a lot to me that I have learned how to help individuals with ASD in the community. This year, I plan to apply to be a Comhab worker so I can work 1:1 with adults on the autistic spectrum. I am currently studying early childhood education at the College of Charleston.
Rachel Rothman

My name is Rachel Rothman, and I attend Avenues The World School in the ninth grade. When I am not at Coast, I enjoy spending time with friends and playing volleyball. Since September of 2023, I have been helping at Coast. My favorite part of volunteering is playing games and having fun with the kids, seeing their level of curiosity and excitement for learning. I love spending time with the people at Coast because of their contagious happy energy!
